  4. England. In 1346 David invaded England, was
  5. captured at the battle of Neville's Cross and
  6. imprisoned for 11 years. After the defeat of
  7. the Scots by Edward III at Halidon Hill 1333,
  8. the young David and Joanna were sent to
  9. France for safety. They returned 1341. On
  10. Joanna's death 1362 David married Margaret
  11. Logie, but divorced her 1370.
